New CLA for ABN AMRO from 1 July 2022
ABN AMRO has a new collective labour agreement (CLA) for its 18.000 or so employees in the Netherlands. A large majority of the members of the trade unions Our NEXT Move, CNV and De Unie have voted in favour of the negotiation result that was reached on 7 October 2022. Members of the FNV have voted against. The new CLA will take effect retroactively from 1 July 2022 and remain in place for 24 months.
Suzanne Schenk, Global Head of Reward and the bank’s chief negotiator: “I am pleased that a large majority of members have agreed with the result. There is now clarity for our colleagues in the Netherlands, who have been dealing with rising living costs for some time. The new employment conditions package helps to cope with these high costs and also offers a substantial amount of money as recognition and appreciation for our colleagues.”
The main new employment benefits are:
A structural pay rise of 4% from 1 October 2022 and another 2.5% from 1 July 2023
A one-time gross payment of 2,000 euros for each colleague (on a full-time basis)
