ABN AMRO offers one-stop shop for merchant payment methods through partnership

Shoppers have a growing number of options for making payments, such as by debit card, credit card, iDeal and PayPal. Businesses, in turn, need to be able to offer these payment options. Starting today, ABN AMRO will be offering businesses with physical and online stores a wide range of digital and cash payment methods in a single contract and with a single point of contact. The bank will extend this service to all of its business clients later this year.

Partnership

ABN AMRO is partnering with First Data and will offer these services through its joint venture European Merchant Services (EMS). First Data is a global leader in commerce-enabling technology and solutions, while EMS has been processing credit card and debit card payments for businesses for over 25 years. Entrepreneurs and small business owners will be able to add more products and services through this payment offering over the course of 2016.
