Vincent Triesschijn appointed as Global Head ESG and Sustainable Investing at ABN AMRO
Vincent Triesschijn has been appointed as Global Head ESG and Sustainable Investing at ABN AMRO per 15 July 2021. In this new role, Vincent Triesschijn will be responsible for further growing ABN AMRO’s sustainable investment capabilities and for further integrating the bank’s Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) efforts for investment services. Towards 2024, he will further build a team of ESG experts that is among others responsible for non-financial reporting and the engagement with investee companies on topics like climate change and human rights.
Currently, Vincent Triesschijn is Director Sustainable Investment at ABN AMRO. Before starting at ABN AMRO in 2012, Vincent Triesschijn worked for other financial institutions such as Kempen Capital Management and JPMorgan. He holds a Master degree in Sustainability from the University of Cambridge.
Sustainability is core to ABN AMRO’s purpose ‘Banking for better, for generations to come’. Currently, sustainable investments at ABN AMRO amount to over EUR 30 billion. It is thebank’s ambition to grow this number. The bank has also set in other areas.
Vincent Triesschijn will report to Celine Krielaart, Global Head Products & Service Management at ABN AMRO Private Banking.
