Today, German financial regulator BaFin has published a decision to impose a fine on ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Frankfurt Branch.
According to BaFin, ABN AMRO Bank N.V. failed to comply with Article 81 (3) of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG). ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Frankfurt Branch did not ensure that the bank's management board in Germany had sufficient access to the compliance report for the financial year 2019. BaFin imposes a fine of EUR 3 million on ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Frankfurt Branch. ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Frankfurt Branch has taken steps to prevent a recurrence of the identified shortcoming.
