ABN AMRO convenes extraordinary general meeting to introduce new CFO and COO
Today ABN AMRO Bank N.V. publishes the convocation and meeting materials for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held in Amsterdam on 16 November 2023. The materials, including the agenda and explanatory notes, are available on the ABN AMRO corporate website.
In the Extraordinary General Meeting Ferdinand Vaandrager and Ton van Nimwegen will introduce themselves as proposed members of the Executive Board. Ferdinand Vaandrager is the proposed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ton van Nimwegen is the proposed Chief Operations Officer (COO).
The proposed appointment of Ferdinand Vaandrager was announced on 5 September 2023. The proposed appointment of Ton van Nimwegen was announced on 21 September 2023. Both appointments will be for a period of four years until the Annual General Meeting of 2027.
The EGM will be held at ABN AMRO’s head office, Gustav Mahlerlaan 10, 1082 PP Amsterdam, and will start at 13:00 hours. This EGM will be held as a physical meeting, a livestream will be available to follow the proceedings. However, voting or asking questions via the livestream will not be possible. Consequently, as a holder of shares or depositary receipts, you must either be physically present or issue a written or electronic proxy to exercise your voting rights.
