New approach to educating clients about greener home options is an instant hit
ABN AMRO and Florius have launched a new approach to help clients make their homes more sustainable, and the initiative is in full swing. The bank has now proactively contacted over 2,000 homeowners to discuss sustainable home improvements. Many clients are interested in making their homes more sustainable but often don’t know where to start.

As an active shareholder, ABN AMRO engages with companies to steer them towards sustainability on behalf of its investor–clients. ABN AMRO is committed to doing business in a responsible way, and that includes respecting human rights. The bank recently launched a pilot project to facilitate the handling of complaints alleging human rights violations by its business clients with the aim of opening a dialogue between the parties involved and finding a solution. ABN AMRO is the very first commercial bank in Europe to take such a step.
