What do banks have to do with human rights? It may not be immediately obvious at first, but whether it’s yet another personal data leak, job applicants facing discrimination, or labour conditions for migrant workers, human rights are constantly in the news these days.

ABN AMRO’s products and services have an impact on the lives of countless individuals, and thus a direct or indirect effect on their basic rights. So what’s the bank’s approach to human rights?

In Richard Reporting, Richard Kooloos, who heads up Group Sustainability, drops in on colleagues to find out how they personally are making sustainability a reality. In this episode, he talks to Herma van der Laarse and Yuri Herder, both of whom have been working hard over the last few months on ABN AMRO’s third Human Rights Report.
