Casper Burgering is Senior Economist Sustainability at Group Economics of ABN AMRO.
Casper is part of the Sustainability Research Team. Within this department he focuses on the energy transition and its economic and sectoral effects. In particular, he monitors the demand side of the energy transition and the total emission reduction potential. On this subject, Casper writes a weekly column for the Dutch newspaper the Financial Telegraph.
He previously worked as a commodities analyst, association manager and as a business economics researcher at various institutions. Research into and analysis of (business) economic developments within sectors in the Dutch economy is the common thread in this expert's career.
Casper studied business economics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
