On 30 March, ABN AMRO was presented with the prestigious WealthBriefing European Award 2023 for Best Overall European Private Bank during a ceremony in London. Choy van der Hooft-Cheong, Chief Commercial Officer Wealth Management, sees the award as recognition for the work of all the bank’s employees in Northwest Europe.

ABN AMRO is a leading private bank in the eurozone, with established private banking names such as ABN AMRO MeesPierson in the Netherlands, Bethmann Bank in Germany, Neuflize OBC in France and ABN AMRO Private Banking in Belgium. In all these countries, we put clients’ interests first. Staying very close to our clients, our expert professionals have over the years built strong relationships with clients based on knowledge and trust.

Choy van der Hooft-Cheong is proud to have been presented with the award: “We owe this recognition to our clients for placing their trust in us, and to our bankers for their commitment to clients. Our experience in wealth management, which goes back more than 350 years, our international expertise and experience, our local understanding and our knowledge of sustainability have together laid the foundation for these long-term relationships. This allows us to support our clients at all important financial steps in their lives.”

ABN AMRO is encouraged by this award to continue to pursue its ambitions. The bank wants to be the partner of choice for wealth management in Northwest Europe. “Banking for better, for generations to come” is our purpose and serves as a compass in everything we do. We want to blaze the trail when it comes to addressing climate change, circularity and social impact. That’s why ESG investments are the default option for all new clients. We want to continue to offer our clients the very best private banking products and services on the strength of innovation, digitalisation, and our sustainability expertise, and always bearing in mind our clients’ needs.”

ABN AMRO also won the Best European Philanthropy offer award, for the fourth time in a row.
