Our clients can select to open an account in one of our local offices in APAC, EU or US and receive their daily position reporting on a regional basis. According to their preference and subject to applicable rules and regulations they can also opt for a single master account, covering their activity globally in a consolidated report.
The Post-Trading Department (Clearing Brazil) acts as an intermediary between non-resident investors, brokers and B3, offering the necessary support in post-trading, clearing and settlement of transactions in equities and derivatives markets. ABN AMRO operates in the following segments of the Brazilian financial market:
BM&F segment: Carrying Broker and Clearing Member;
BOVESPA segment: Clearing Agent and Custody Agent;
In addition, ABN AMRO in Brazil is also accredited as:
Guarantee Issuing Bank: Accredited by B3;

Our execution services cover exclusively Direct Market Access (DMA) to listed products at B3 via Colocation (sponsored access) or Provider, being the latter through a partner company.
Transactions are booked automatically and clients can benefit from a STP (Straight-Through Process) process, being an integrated execution, post-trade, clearing and settlement solution that enables greater efficiency for clients who wish to reduce complexity and have an operational gain.
Recently, ABN AMRO Brazil received another recognition of its quality and excellence by obtaining the "Carrying Broker" stamp from the Operational Qualification Program (PQO) offered by B3.
The "Operational Qualification" stamp, offered by B3 through the Operational Qualification Program (PQO), identifies the Participant that has the financial capacity and organizational and technological structure specialized in providing services of risk management, settlement, collateral management, consolidation of positions and custody services for institutional investors and non-financial corporations.
