1917

  • First legal entity related to ABN AMRO arrives in Brazil

1991

  • ABN AMRO officially establishes itself under this name in Brazil

1998

  • ABN AMRO acquires Banco Real, becoming the fourth largest bank in the country with over 33 thousand employees

2007

  • ABN AMRO ceases its activities in Brazil after selling its operations globally

2010

  • ABN AMRO returns to Brazil through a representative office in São Paulo

2013

  • ABN AMRO concludes the acquisition of Banco CR2 and becomes a bank in Brazil

2022

  • ABN AMRO starts to serve exclusively clients of ABN AMRO Clearing

2023

  • ABN AMRO launches its execution services via a Broker Dealer (ABN AMRO CTVM)
